Answer: When you print a document through private printing, it will not print directly at the printer; instead will get held on the printer against your name. You can either print / delete the document on the printer, thus saving erroneous prints and in turn curbing wastage.
How do I use Private printing?
Answer: When you press the print button it will ask you for a password. Enter the password of your choice here.
If you want to save your password as default follow the below path:
Start > Devices and Printers > Right click on your printer > printer preferences > click on this key > enter your password.
How do I retrieve my prints on the printer?
Answer: Click on the PRINT key on the control panel of the printer. The below display shall appear.
Click on your name and the password tab and enter the same password you have set when firing the print.
Select the required jobs and click on print. You also have an option to delete the prints from here.
